Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
From public sources: FDA (Drugs@FDA, openFDA, advisory committees), ClinicalTrials.gov, SEC EDGAR, the Federal Register and PubMed. Every record links to its source, and the About page lists them.
Is a CT-VCA score a chance of approval?
No. CT-VCA rates the quality of a trial record against a published, versioned rubric. It never says how likely FDA is to approve a drug.
Why are FDA IQ estimates blocked?
An estimate is shown only from a model that passed every release gate and was promoted by two admins. Until then the model status says serving is blocked.
What does "not yet reviewed" mean?
The drug was listed automatically from FDA or ClinicalTrials.gov and an editor has not checked it yet. Dates read from company filings always wait for an editor.
How do alerts reach me?
In the app (the bell), by email once your address is verified, and on your phone or browser once you turn push notifications on for that device.
Can I export data?
Pro, Elite and Enterprise plans can export Catalyst Explorer results as CSV and drug reports as PDF. The developer API has daily limits per plan.
How do I delete my account?
Account, then Delete my data. It asks for your password and cannot be undone. Download your data first if you want a copy.
